Trio was founded June 1, 2008 by the mother daughter team of Terri and Lindsay Jenstad. Terri Jenstad, a 36 year veteran in the real estate industry along with owning and operating a small design firm since 1983 saw a need for a higher end furniture store in the western suburbs of Minneapolis. After staging luxury homes for one and a half years out of a warehouse in Wayzata, the Jenstads opened Trio...furniture accessories design Inc. named Trio for Terri and her two sisters who bonded as children and all share an element of design in their careers.
Lindsay, Trio's vice president, assists in the day to day operation of the store as well as managing the warehouse and now helps with customizing leather and upholstered goods for customers. Together, Terri, Lindsay and their team provide an upbeat and stress free atmosphere, making the experience at Trio enjoyable while creating loyal customers. Trio owns and operates its own delivery truck and employs a professional and courteous moving team, ensuring personal attention to each property and to our clientele.
